At Glacier View Junior High School, I was in Journalism. I passed the class with over 100% completion, so I figured I would be okay at Newspaper Production. I am not going to lie and say how I have always dreamed of working for the New York Times, but I will tell you the truth. I hated reading and writing for most of my life. When I was in the third grade, I attempted to read the Harry Potter series and I hated it. To be fair, I started with Half-Blood Prince, because I didn’t know you had to start with the first one!

It was in fourth grade when I finally got a knack for writing. I got 4’s on all my assignments and was very happy when I wrote. In fifth grade, we were forced to read a novel. I picked Twilight and loved it. Now, I’m a reading and writing addict hoping to make it big in the world of film one day. My biggest dream would be to be a screenplay writer, and any form of writing helps me achieve that dream.

In my free time, I like cuddling up with my laptop and a fat cat, typing away on my next story. My favorite type of writing is fictional, although I love writing about pop culture in the news. My biggest inspirations in life include music and Harry Potter (what can I say? I grew to love it!). I am a Junior and hope to graduate with my classmates in 2017.
