SENIOR POWER. Being on not only the JagWire staff, but also the Yearbook staff as a senior editor has made me more involved at Emerald Ridge High School. Design is what I’m most interested in, well... besides clothes. In a way though they go hand in hand. In both I’m either designing/putting together an outfit and with Yearbook or JagWire, I’m designing a layout. I joined the paper because I want more experience with design and want to be able to use the abilities I learn from newspaper to apply them to not only yearbook but my future career opportunities as well. I’ve been in Yearbook for two years now because I really enjoy being able to express myself in design aspects and sharing it with everyone for them to enjoy it. However, this is my first year in JagWire and I’m excited to learn all of the differences between Yearbook and JagWire and applying them to each other. Overall the most I’m looking forward to is being involved in both publications and expanding my knowledge with publications.
